Earlier this week, I posted a picture of our hand and foot print jack o' lantern, which was inspired by our preemie-toddler. I received so many positive responses, that I've decided to share more pictures of our pumpkin carving process.
We started the pumpkin carving process by cutting a hole in the bottom of the pumpkin. Then, we removed the seeds.
Next, we traced my daughter's hands and feet. We scanned the tracings into the computer to create a template.
After that, we taped the template onto the pumpkin and followed the lines to carve-out the hands and feet.
The pumpkin carving process was pretty simple, but somewhat time consuming.
We love the final product, especially since it has special meaning to us.
What did you carve into your pumpkin this year? I'd love to hear about your pumpkin carving experience, so don't be shy! Please feel free to leave a comment.
Preemie Blessings wishes you a happy and safe Halloween!
