Synagis Welcome Guide Kit

Emily received Synagis in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and now receives Synagis from the pediatrician on a monthly basis during Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) season.

I was recently reviewing Medimmune's website (the maker of Synagis) and found out that the company offers a valuable program called Cradle with Care. This program offers Synagis appointment reminders, as well as educational information concerning RSV. A Synagis Welcome Guide Kit is also available.  For more information, please see:

I received our Synagis Welcome Guide Kit today.  It comes in a keepsake box and includes some useful items, including:
  • A notebook consisting of reference cards on RSV and how to protect your baby;
  • A 12-month calendar;
  • Calendar stickers that can be used as reminders for upcoming doctor appointments, including appointments for the administration of Synagis;
  • A dry erase magnet and eraser;
  • A magnetic picture frame; and
  • A stroller tag reminding others to wash their hands before touching your baby.
